Research Question: Male infertility accounts for almost half of all infertility cases worldwide, with idiopathic male infertility accounting for up to 30% of the cases. Sperm proteomics has revealed critical molecular pathway changes in men with infertility. However, the sperm mitochondrial proteome remains poorly understood.

The commonly used sperm chromatin dispersion test offers an indirect estimation but has limitations in terms of bias and variability. This study aimed to assess the reliability of the sperm chromatin dispersion assay for predicting assisted reproductive technology outcomes.

Methods: Infertile patients aged 20-55 years were treated with a combination of antioxidants (Androlen; Enfarma, Misterbianco, Catania, Italy) (group A), with Androlen (Enfarma) and a mixture of fibrinolytic molecules (Lenidase, Enfarma) (group B), or Androlen (Enfarma) and other molecules different from those used for the patients of the group B (group C). Patients were also subdivided according to the presence of varicocele, mild testicular hypotrophy, idiopathic infertility, and chronic male accessory gland infection.
Background: Evidence is inconsistent regarding the impact of late gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) on perinatal outcomes.
Objectives: To evaluate associations of GDM diagnosed in the third trimester (late GDM) with adverse obstetric and neonatal outcomes.
Search Strategy: We searched Embase, Medline, and Web of Science from January 1, 1990 to June 16, 2022, for observational studies.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a pandemic causing respiratory symptoms, taste alterations, olfactory disturbances, and cutaneous, cardiovascular, and neurological manifestations. Recently, research interest has shifted to reproductive health to understand the factors predisposing to COVID-19 infection in pregnancy, the consequences of the infection on the fetus and on the mother, and possible vertical transmission through the placenta. Pregnancy does not increase the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, according to studies.

Objective: To assess the incidence of discordant testicular pathology in men undergoing bilateral microdissection testicular sperm extraction (mTESE) and association with sperm retrieval rate.
Methods: We performed a retrospective single-institutional review of all patients undergoing mTESE from 2007 to 2021 and aggregated clinical history, physical exam, semen analysis, and operative findings. Specimens with discordant pathology were re-reviewed by an experienced genitourinary.
Background: Sperm chromatin dispersion test is a common and inexpensive technique to assess sperm DNA fragmentation, but its subjectivity in assessing a small number of spermatozoa is a disadvantage.
Objectives: To study the efficacy of a new sperm chromatin dispersion test kit (R10) combined with an artificial intelligence-aided halo-evaluation platform (X12) and compare the results to those of existing sperm DNA fragmentation testing methods.
Materials And Methods: Semen samples from normozoospermic donors (n = 10) and infertile men with abnormal semen parameters (n = 10) were enrolled.
