Proteinase-activated receptor-2 (PAR2) is closely linked to tumor malignancy, but its biological role in cancer remains underexplored. In this study, we assessed PAR2 expression in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and normal lung tissues, analyzed associations between clinicopathological features and survival rates, and confirmed that PAR2 promotes apoptosis resistance and reduces cisplatin-induced cytotoxicity in lung cancer cells. Using TCGA datasets, western blotting, qPCR, and immunohistochemistry (IHC), we observed a significant increase in PAR2 levels in LUAD samples compared to normal tissues (P<0.

Background: A meta-analysis study was done to figure out how to predict the prognosis of people with resectable non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had a significant pathological response following neoadjuvant immunotherapy.

Methods: Up until August 2024, a comprehensive literature study was completed, and 2,386 connected studies were revised. The 35 selected studies included 3,118 resectable non-small-cell lung tumor participants at the beginning of the study.

This study aims to investigate the role and mechanism of ubiquitin-specific protease 3 (USP3) in cisplatin (DDP) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). USP3 expression in NSCLC cells was detected using reverse transcription quantitative PCR and Western blot. DDP-resistant cells were constructed and cell counting kit-8 assay determined the IC 50 of cells to DDP.
