Background: The present study aimed to evaluate the periapical healing of root canal treatment after accidental extrusion and rate of resorption of three different base endodontic sealers.
Materials And Methods: Seventy-five patients with single visit root canal treated teeth with accidental extrusion of sealer were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and were allocated into three equal groups based on different base endodontic sealers used during obturation; Grossman, Sealapex™, and Seal-pex. Radiographic evaluation was done to assess periapical healing and rate of resorption at baseline, 1, 3, and 6 months.

Aim: This in vitro study compared the antimicrobial efficacy of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, 10% citric acid, and 3% hydrogen peroxide against Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis), using normal saline as a control.

The objective of this research was to measure and identify the sealing ability of endodontic sealers by evaluating their adhesion to root canal dentin and the extent to which they achieve a complete seal. Methods A total of 60 extracted lower premolar teeth were randomly divided into three groups of 20 samples each.

Methods: A total of 120 patients were randomly assigned to three groups: Group 1 (Root ZX Mini Apex Locator), Group 2 (Minipex Apex Locator), and Group 3 (Endopilot Endomotor with built-in Apex Locator). Working length was determined using respective devices, followed by canal preparation and radiographic confirmation with a master cone.
Background: Cleaning and shaping represent a vital step in the endodontic procedure. In routine endodontic therapy, the fracture of nickel-titanium (NiTi) instruments is a procedural problem creating a major obstacle to therapy.
Aim: This study examines the life span of one Neoendo Flex and ProTaper Next (PTN) rotary file using reciprocating motion and compares the time required by both file systems for canal preparation.
