Purpose: To report the effect of lower eyelid temporalis fascia sling combined with lateral canthoplasty and tarsorrhaphy for paralytic ectropion.
Methods: Prospective case series of 10 patients with lower lid paralytic ectropion who were treated with lower eyelid fascia temporalis sling and lateral canthoplasty in addition to lateral tarsorrhaphy as a single-session procedure. Additional medial tarsorrhaphy was applied if the medial lower lid apposition was not adequate at the end of the procedures.
Lateral Rectus-Medial Rectus Union: A New Surgical Technique for Treatment of Complete Third Nerve Palsy.

Purpose: To describe a new surgical technique for the treatment of complete third nerve palsy.
Methods: This study included patients with chronic complete third nerve palsy. The lateral rectus muscle was split, followed by disinsertion of the superior and inferior halves, which were passed between the sclera and superior and inferior rectus muscles, respectively.
Purpose: To describe the clinical manifestations of subtypes of double elevator palsy and to report the outcomes of surgery in these patients.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted on hospital records of patients with double elevator palsy at Labbafinejad Medical Center over a ten-year period from 1994 to 2004. Patients were classified into three subgroups of primary elevator muscle palsy (9 subjects), primary supranuclear palsy with secondary inferior rectus restriction (4 subjects) and pure inferior rectus restriction (7 subjects) according to forced duction test (FDT), force generation test (FGT) and Bell's reflex.
