Breast-related herniation (BRH) is a vague term for many clinicians. The absence of a universal nomenclature and the different nature of the herniation process involved, being true or false, contribute to this vagueness. BRH includes a spectrum of disorders ranging from a few congenital breast disorders to commoner herniation processes related to acquired breast diseases.

Introduction The experience of pain is a complex phenomenon. A patient in the acute postsurgical pain setting may feel a constant bombardment of nociceptive input from the surgical site; this in turn influences psychological factors that determine the overall emotional experience of pain, which is significant. The aim of our study was to investigate the severity of pain in postsurgical patients three days after surgery using the 100 mm visual analog scale (VAS).

Granulomatous lobular mastitis (GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM.

Purpose: Tumor expression of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) is associated with evasion of immune response in several types of malignancies and such expression may render patients eligible for PD-L1 inhibitors. The use of immune checkpoint blockade therapy has been recently approved for the treatment of breast cancer. However, PD-L1 expression data are lacking among Jordanian breast cancer patients.

Objectives: There is no consensus regarding the surgical or immunosuppressive treatment of idiopathic granulomatous mastitis (IGM). This study aimed to introduce a clinical classification system for IGM that might facilitate its treatment and predict recurrence. Methods: We analyzed the management of 68 patients with IGM at (Princess Basma Teaching Hospital and King Abdulla University Hospital (1994-2016) to find out if distinct patterns of presentation exist according to the following parameters: presence of a painful or painless breast mass, local inflammation, abscess formation, communication to the skin, and extra-mammary manifestation.

Cancer immunotherapy has evolved dramatically with improved understanding of immune microenvironment and immunosurveillance. The immunogenicity of breast cancer is rather heterogeneous. Specific subtypes of breast cancer such as estrogen receptor (ER)-negative, human EGF receptor 2 (HER2)-positive, and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) have shown evidence of immunogenicity based on tumor-immune interactions.

BACKGROUND Popliteal fossa pseudoaneurysms as a result of trauma are not uncommon. However, spontaneous pseudoaneurysms as a result of non-traumatic rupture of posterior tibial artery (PTA), anterior tibial artery (ATA), or tibioperoneal trunk (TPT) artery segment are extremely rare. We report a case of spontaneous popliteal fossa pseudoaneurysm resulting from spontaneous avulsion of the ATA and transection of the TPT.
