Tetragonula iridipennis Smith, commonly known as the stingless bee or 'dammer bee', is a key native species that pollinates a wide variety of horticultural crops, including onions, in India. Climate change significantly affects species distribution and habitat suitability. This study utilized Maximum Entropy Modeling (MaxEnt) to predict the current and future distribution of T.

Consequently, processing methods are crucial to improve PD. We investigated the effects of thermal treatments (cooking, hydrothermal, autoclaving, infrared rays) treatments and germination on modulation of PD, its properties and association with ANFs in two distinct genotypes based on polyphenol content: high (Pusa Arhar 2018-4) and low (ICP-1452).

Eligible patients underwent iCare HOME training through guided demonstration (verbal, pictorial, video) and practised self-tonometry measures using iCare HOME. Certification for independent iCare HOME measure was provided if first iCare HOME intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement fell within ± 5 mmHg of Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT) measurement which was measured by the trained clinician (principal investigator).

However, recent research has shed light on the often-underestimated psychological dimensions of this condition. Anxiety and depression, two pervasive psychiatric comorbidities, have been increasingly recognized among glaucoma patients.

This case report emphasizes the importance of recognizing SOAG and details the diagnostic complexities, reevaluation procedures, and successful long-term management of a 24-year-old bilateral high myopia (-7.00 D) patient who initially received an erroneous diagnosis of secondary angle-closure glaucoma (SACG) after ICL insertion at an external medical facility.

The protein possesses GSH-disulphide oxidoreductase property but lacks Fe-S cluster assembly mechanism. Glutaredoxins (Grxs) are small, ubiquitous and multi-functional proteins.

NTG, characterized by optic nerve damage and visual field loss despite normal intraocular pressure, has long puzzled clinicians. One emerging perspective suggests that alterations in ocular blood flow, particularly within the optic nerve head, may play a pivotal role in its pathogenesis.

However, a few crop plants, especially legumes, are characterized with suboptimal levels of these EAA thereby limiting their nutritive value. Hence, improved comprehension of the mechanistic perspective of sulfur transport and assimilation into storage reserve, seed storage protein (SSP), is imperative.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAxenfeld-Rieger syndrome (ARS) is a rare disease characterized by anterior segment anomalies with or without glaucoma. A 28-year-old antenatal female diagnosed with ARS presented with uncontrolled intraocular pressures (IOPs) and advanced glaucoma despite maximal medical therapy and progressive vision loss during her third trimester. The refractory and progressive nature of the disease, with useful vision in one eye, necessitated immediate surgical intervention, following which there was successful control of IOP, lasting till the final follow-up at 18 months.

Methods: A structured questionnaire was administered via the Google platform from August 20 to September 19, 2022, to assess the perspectives and preferences of ophthalmologists concerning their proficiency in using their right hand, left hand, or both hands to perform routine tasks required in the practice of ophthalmic medicine and surgery.
Results: Two hundred and three participants took part in the survey.
Onion thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindeman, an economically important onion pest in India, poses a severe threat to the domestic and export supply of onions. Therefore, it is important to study the distribution of this pest in order to assess the possible crop loss, which it may inflict if not managed in time. In this study, MaxEnt was used to analyze the potential distribution of T.

It is available free of cost from the Google Play Store for Android users. Procedures ranging from a simple outpatient department procedure (yttrium aluminium garnet peripheral iridotomy) to a complex surgical technique (trabeculectomy/tube surgery) can be explained and counseled with this Android application.

Owing to the demand for the consumption of healthy extrudates, this study explored the infusion of (coconut inflorescence sap) honey in rice flour, corn flour and coconut milk residue blend-based extrudates. honey, the concentrated coconut inflorescence sap, has numerous nutrients and a natural source of essential vitamins. Hence, the potential of honey as a biofortifying compound for the production of healthy extrudates was investigated.
