Background: Fluorine-18 (F) flumazenil (FMZ) has been synthesized using various precursors, and its role has been explored in imaging Gamma-aminobutyric acid-A receptors.

Aim And Objective: The main objective was to synthesize (F) FMZ using isotopic substitution.

Materials And Methods: Around 18 ± 2 GBq was added to the module, dried, and radiolabeling was standardized with 3.

Many studies have reported the role of P-glycoprotein (Pgp) in chemoresistance in various pathological conditions such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's. In this study, we are reporting the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-based purification of fluorine-18 [F]AVT-011 and its preclinical evaluation. AVT-011 was labeled with F using the nucleophilic substitution method by heating the reaction mixture at 110°C for 10 min, followed by purification using preparative HPLC and C18ec cartridge.

Background: Parkinson's disease (PD) is characterized by the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra. SPECT imaging using technetium-99m [Tc] labeled trodat is the choice of imaging to differentiate PD from its other forms like drug-induced PD.

Aims And Objectives: The main objective of our study was to prepare in-house sterile formulation of [Tc]Tc-trodat and use in clinics.

Positron emission tomography (PET) using O-(2-[ F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine ([ F]FET) has shown great success in differentiating tumor recurrence from necrosis. In this study, we are reporting the experience of synthesis [ F]FET by varying the concentration of TET precursor in different chemistry modules. TET precursor (2-10 mg) was used for the synthesis of [ F]FET in an automated (MX Tracerlab) module (n = 6) and semiautomated (FX2N Tracerlab) module (n = 19).

P-glycoprotein (Pgp) is the most studied ATP-binding cassette (ABC) efflux transporter and contributes to chemoresistance. A few tracers have been developed to detect the in-vivo status of chemoresistance using positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. In our study, we have synthesized labeled AVT-011 with fluorine-18 (F) followed by in-vitro and in-vivo analysis.

The positron emission tomography (PET) molecular imaging technique has gained its universal value as a remarkable tool for medical diagnosis and biomedical research. Carbon-11 is one of the promising radiotracers that can report target-specific information related to its pharmacology and physiology to understand the disease status. Currently, many of the available carbon-11 ( = 20.

Glucose is the renowned source of the energy for the cancer growth, that's the reason for [F]FDG success and make it widely used radiotracer. Though [F]FDG has its own inherent limitations therefore many tracers have been developed to target specific receptors, and other metabolic routes. We have used FX2C and FX2N Tracerlab modules for the synthesis of the [C]methionine, [F]choline and [F]fluorodopa via nucleophilic pathway in FX2C/N module.

Fluorine-18 is one of the most widely used radionuclides for the production of radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography (PET). The radiolabeling methods like nucleophilic, electrophilic, Cu mediated mechanisms or prosthetic groups are widely using to achieve high regioselective radiochemical yields. It acts as a powerful tool to identify new drug targets through cellular uptake, pharmacokinetic (ADME) and pharmacodynamic parameters of the F labeled tracer or drug.

Access to care and management of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients may differ based on residential area. We described differences in the profile of patients initiating their first biologic disease modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) based on their residential area type.Cross-sectional analysis of 793 adult RA patients in the longitudinal Ontario Best Practices Research Initiative (OBRI) registry initiating their first bDMARD <30 days prior to or anytime post-enrolment.

Choline is a natural substrate for phospholipid synthesis. F-18 labeled fluorocholine nowadays is routinely used for imaging brain tumors, parathyroid adenoma, and prostate cancer. It is synthesized through nucleophilic substitution reaction using dibromomethane and N, N-dimethylaminoethanol as primary and secondary precursors, respectively.

Objective: We sought to determine if initial high disease activity or changes in disease activity contribute to persistent depression in early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA). We also determined if disease activity and depression is modified by sex.

Methods: Depression was ascertained by self-report among patients enrolled in the Ontario Best Practices Research Initiative.

Purpose Of Study: Loss of dopamine neurons in the brain is a characteristic feature of Parkinson's disease (PD). TRODAT-1 is a tropane derivative that binds to dopamine transporter (DAT) receptors. It can be used for noninvasive imaging of DAT receptors leading to the early detection of PD.

Diabetic muscle infarction is a rare complication of diabetes. Since first reported in 1965, approximately 130 patients have been reported, with only 2 cases described affecting the upper extremity. We report on 3 men (age, 40-63) with diabetic muscle infarction involving the arm.
