- The study looked at two surgical methods to help women with hydrosalpinx before they try in vitro fertilization (IVF).
- Women who had laparoscopic tubal disconnection (LTD) had better chances of getting pregnant and having babies compared to those who had hydroscopic tubal electrocoagulation (HTE).
- Although LTD had better results for pregnancies, it had more surgical complications, while HTE was quicker and had fewer major issues.
