Background: This work aimed to identify the mathematical model and ecological determinants of COVID-19 infection and mortality across different countries during the first six months of the pandemic.

Methodology: In this study, authors used the online available data sources of randomly selected 18 countries to figure out potential determinants of COVID-19 transmissibility and mortality. The studied variables were environmental factors (daily average temperature, daily humidity), socioeconomic attributes (population age structure, count and density, human development index, per capita income (PCI), gross domestic product, internet coverage) mobility trends and chronic diseases.

Mirabegron versus Solifenacin in Children with Overactive Bladder: Prospective Randomized Single-Blind Controlled Trial.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of mirabegron versus solifenacin in the treatment of newly diagnosed overactive bladder (OAB) in children.

Methods: We conducted a prospective randomized controlled study on pediatric patients with newly diagnosed OAB. Patients were randomized into 3 groups: mirabegron (50 mg once daily) in group I, solifenacin (5 mg) in group II, and placebo in group III.

Background: Aberrant DNA methylation of phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) gene has been found in many cancers. The object of this study was to evaluate the clinical impact of PTEN methylation as a prognostic marker in breast cancer. The study includes 153 newly diagnosed females, and they were divided according to their clinical diagnosis into breast cancer patients (n = 112) and females with benign breast lesion (n = 41).
