Background: Frontline healthcare workers are at higher risk for COVID-19 infection and due to lack of availability of adequate personal protective equipment (PPE), lack of knowledge and good practices results in more deaths each year due to occupational accidents and diseases.

Objective: The aim of the study was to assess the awareness of personal safety, the association between the level of awareness with selected socio-demographic variables and to identify the correlation between knowledge and practice of personal safety.

Materials And Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study design was conducted among 106 Frontline Healthcare workers who have worked in the COVID ward.
