WeedCube dataset consists of hyperspectral images of three crops (canola, soybean, and sugarbeet) and four invasive weeds species (kochia, common waterhemp, redroot pigweed, and common ragweed). Plants were grown in two separate greenhouses and plant canopies were captured from a top-down camera angle. A push-broom hyperspectral sensor in the visible near infrared region of 400-1000 nm was used for data collection.

Background Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common and serious condition affecting elderly patients. Despite its significance, comprehensive research focusing specifically on the clinical profile and short-term outcomes of AKI in this vulnerable population is lacking. Objective This study aimed to evaluate the clinical profile and short-term outcomes of AKI in elderly patients admitted to a tertiary care center.

Present study has been conducted to characterize the Mg alloy namely AZ31-based composite joined by Friction stir processing (FSP) technique. This study deals with the effect of single and double passes in FSP of AZ31 Mg alloy. The single pass run in FSP is followed at tool rotation speed (N) of 1000 to 1400 rpm.

A patient in his 20s presented with a change in the appearance of his left eye with evidence of relative afferent pupillary defect. Imaging revealed a giant frontoethmoidal osteoma, a benign sinonasal tumour, invading three-quarters of the orbit. Multidisciplinary discussion involving opthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery and otolaryngology resulted in the decision to attempt entirely endoscopic excision of this lesion, which was performed with successful outcomes.

Interspecies comparisons are key to deriving an understanding of the behavioral and neural correlates of human cognition from animal models. We perform a detailed comparison of the strategies of female macaque monkeys to male and female humans on a variant of the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST), a widely studied and applied task that provides a multiattribute measure of cognitive function and depends on the frontal lobe. WCST performance requires the inference of a rule change given ambiguous feedback.

Aim: The present study compared the safety, efficacy, and tolerability of the new fixed-dose combination (FDC) of telmisartan 40 mg + bisoprolol 5 mg (TBP) tablets with the existing comparator FDC telmisartan 40 mg + metoprolol succinate ER 50 mg (TMS) tablets in patients with stage 1 and stage 2 hypertension.

Methodology: The multicentric, double-blind, parallel-group, comparative, prospective, phase-III clinical study involved 264 subjects with stage 1 and stage 2 hypertension from 10 centres across India. The selected subjects were randomized into two groups: group A received the TMS and group B received the new FDC TBP.

Natural diamonds were (and are) formed (thousands of million years ago) in the upper mantle of Earth in metallic melts at temperatures of 900-1,400 °C and at pressures of 5-6 GPa (refs. ). Diamond is thermodynamically stable under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions as per the phase diagram of carbon.

Sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma (sRCC) is histologically heterogeneous, with variable sarcomatoid amounts intermixed within epithelial carcinoma. However, the current classification for this aggressive disease is homogeneous and agnostic to the sarcomatoid proportion. We investigated whether sRCC subclassification has prognostic value and can reveal the biology underlying dedifferentiation and its clinical aggressiveness.

Over the past century, the average surface temperature and recurrent heatwaves have been steadily rising, especially during the summer season, which is affecting the yield potential of most food crops. Hence, diversification in cropping systems with suitable fertilizer management is an urgent need to ensure high yield potential during the summer season. Since intercropping has emerged as an important strategy to increase food production, the present study comprises five intercropping systems in the main plot (sole cowpea, sole baby corn, cowpea + baby corn in 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 row ratio), three levels of fertilizer viz.

Background And Aim: While proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy has proven to be effective in managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a notable portion of patients who experience GERD symptoms may not respond to this treatment. Research suggests that roughly 30% of individuals with a presumed GERD diagnosis may continue to experience symptoms, whether partially or completely, even when receiving PPI therapy. The aim of this study was to assess the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases with a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), vonoprazan, in terms of its effectiveness and safety in the Pakistani population.

Objectives: The inpatient to outpatient transition is critical for patient safety but suffers from lack of standardization and communication. Expanding telehealth use allows unique opportunities to leverage secure video conferencing to streamline communication between families and hospital-based providers (HBPs) after hospital discharge. We conducted a qualitative study to evaluate HBP and caregiver beliefs regarding a proposed telehealth follow-up visit after hospital discharge (THDF).

Transcription factors (TFs) play a pivotal role in gene expression, and their DNA binding is the prerequisite to instigating gene transcription. Here, we present a protocol that exploits the proximity ligation assay technique to measure the DNA-binding activities of TFs in situ at the single-cell resolution. We describe steps for immunostaining with specific antibodies against double-stranded DNA and the TFs of interest, probe incubation, proximity ligation, and signal amplification.

Monkeypox is a rare zoonotic DNA with lineage from the Poxviridae family, Chordopoxvirinae subfamily, and Orthopoxvirus genus. With a previous history of controlled and contained occasional outbreaks of the virus, currently, a widely erupted outbreak of monkeypox with progressively rising numbers has been reported since May 2022 in multiple countries of the western hemisphere that are not historically endemic for this infection, particularly the United Kingdom and European Union countries. We have written a comprehensive review article to help clinicians better understand the disease.

Various haematological markers have been shown to be diagnostic and prognostic in oral cancer. This study compares the values of the inflammatory metrics neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR), ESR and HB in precancerous and cancerous lesions to see if one of them can be utilised to make an early diagnosis of oral squamous cell carcinoma. To compare haematological markers as a diagnostic marker to differentiate healthy individuals, oral potentially malignant disorders from oral squamous cell carcinoma patients.
