Objective: To describe the spectrum of being detected gene mutations in patients with epilepsy in clinical practice of neurologists specializing in epilepsy with an analysis of diagnosed epileptic syndromes, the characteristics of seizures, the timing of a genetic diagnosis, options and treatment effectiveness.
Patients And Methods: The study included 100 patients (40 boys, 60 girls) with epilepsy and/or epileptic encephalopathy and a gene mutation identified. The average age was 6.
The article summarizes the introduction of drugs into the cerebrospinal fluid. Indications and contraindications for the administration of pharmaceuticals in the cerebrospinal fluid spaces are presented. Main groups of pharmacological agents used for endolumbar introduction and conditions under which they are used, as well as advantages and disadvantages of this treatment are considered.

The activity of Ca2(+)-ATPase and the levels of total intracellular calcium of platelets and plasma nitrites were studied in the attack-free period. Children with migraine were fond to have elevated levels of stable nitric oxide metabolites (nitrites).

The involvement of glutathione in the realization of the oxygen effect is not limited to the time of irradiation. The effect of glutathione extends to the postirradiation period i.

Sublethal irradiation of donors leads to a change in some properties of bone marrow haemopoietic stem cells (HSC) during the exponential growth (days 1-8) of the syngeneic recipients in the spleen. They are: an increase in the rate of proliferation, a slight reduction in time of the population doubling, and a tendency toward an increase in the percentage of cells settled in the spleen after transplantation. These changes in the properties of HSC provide a more rapid repopulation thereof as compared to HSC of intact mice.

When adrenaline was administered before irradiation the survival of CFUs (endo- and exo-tests) increased and the bone marrow cellularity and the spleen weight were restored more rapidly than those of the controls. With adrenaline administered after irradiation, the survival of endo-CFUs increased, the bone marrow cellularity was restored and the spleen weight increased.
