Many Low and middle-income countries face challenges in delivering chemotherapy services due to limitations in infrastructure, inadequate healthcare facilities, and a shortage of trained medical professionals. High-income countries often have well-developed healthcare systems and advanced technology.

Even in those who can undergo successful margin negative resection, the ability to deliver adjuvant chemotherapy is suboptimal for various reasons, resulting in poor outcomes. The delivery of "standard of care" intensive modern neoadjuvant therapies can be challenging in low to-middle-income countries (LMICs) with limited resource.

Methods: Consecutive patients with LA/M GBC treated with Gemcitabine-Cisplatin (GC) or Gemcitabine-Oxaliplatin (GO) as first line palliative chemotherapy from January 2013 to June 2015 were retrospectively analysed. Patients who were able to continue chemotherapy beyond 6-8 cycles were separately compared to those who were potential candidates for this approach, but chose not to continue chemotherapy.
Background: Gemcitabine-cisplatin (GC) and gemcitabine-oxaliplatin (GO) are the most commonly used regimens in advanced gallbladder cancer (GBC).
Methods: The data of patients with advanced GBC, treated between January 2013 and June 2015 were retrieved. A 1:1 matching without replacement was performed by using nearest neighbor matching method.
Smoking tobacco, both cigarettes and beedis, is the principal risk factor for causation of lung cancer in Indian men; however, among Indian women, the association with smoking is not strong, suggesting that there could be other risk factors besides smoking. Despite numerous advances in recent years in terms of diagnostic methods, molecular changes, and therapeutic interventions, the outcomes of the lung cancer patients remain poor; hence, a better understanding of the risk factors may impact the preventive measures to be implemented at the community level. There is a lack of comprehensive data on lung cancer in India.

The purpose of this paper is to report a rare occurrence of Stevens-Johnson/Toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) overlap syndrome after the use of aceclofenac. A 38 year old healthy adult male presented with rapidly evolving rash over face and upper body with ulceration of buccal mucosa and breathlessness after taking aceclofenac tablet. Naranjo score for this adverse drug event was six, thereby making it a probable adverse drug reaction.

In 1951, Perrault reported the association of gonadal dysgenesis and deafness, now referred to as Perrault's syndrome. Perrault syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive condition affecting both females and males; only females have gonadal dysgenesis associated with sensorineural deafness, which is present in both sexes.

An elongated high-rising epiglottis can represent a normal variation of the larynx in a majority of pediatric patients. However, there are virtually no reports available for visible or high-rising epiglottis on routine oral examination in adult patients without upper respiratory tract inflammation. We report an unusual case with prominently visible epiglottis on oral examination.
