Endophytes isolated from seaweeds emerge as promising biocontrol agents against broad spectrum of plant diseases. The endophytic bacteria were isolated from the seaweed (Sargassum wightii) to manage the chilli fruit rot pathogen Fusarium incarnatum. The antifungal activity of the isolated bacteria was tested by dual culture assay and plant growth-promoting activity was also tested by the standard paper towel method.

Here, a cost effective and rapid technique, called the "Detached Leaf Assay", was developed to identify resistant germplasm at the seedling stage itself. Zoospore production in highly virulent (P19) was standardized by incubating under a 12 hours light and dark regime.

We sequenced the Chowghat Green Dwarf cultivar, which is resistant to the root (wilt) disease, utilizing Illumina, PacBio, ONT, and Hi-C technologies to produce a chromosome-level genome of ~ 2.

The large musculature of shoulder girdle, complex communicating spaces into the periscapular region, and late glenohumeral joint involvement can cause delay in diagnosis of infections involving muscular portion of rotator cuff. The method of surgical drainage with involvement of scapulothoracic and subscapular spaces and prognosis can be challenging.

The student grand round was created to tackle this deficiency by changing the way in which students are taught, from traditional lecture-based learning to interactive small-group peer-to-peer teaching. This approach encourages students to become responsible for their own learning, develop their public speaking and teaching skills, as well as identify and address gaps in their knowledge.

The optical absorption spectrum revealed red-shifted Soret and Q-bands of porphyrin due to charge transfer-type interactions involving the two ethynyl bridges carrying electron-rich and electron-poor substituents. The redox properties suggested that the phenothiazine-porphyrin part of the molecule is easier to oxidize and the fullerene part is easier to reduce.

Despite fluid resuscitation with warmed saline, he remained hypotensive and required vasopressor support leading to intensive care admission. Initially, the patient was managed for suspected meningoencephalitis but was later found to have hypopituitarism leading to secondary hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency.

We present a case of a woman in her 40s who presented to the emergency department with collapse, right-sided weakness, agitation, and confusion. Despite efforts, she went into cardiac arrest and died before a definitive diagnosis was made.

The resulting derivatives were utilized in visible-light-induced intramolecular siloxycarbene-amide cyclization for the synthesis of new tricyclic γ-lactams. In parallel, we also harnessed the same acylsilane and maleimide units through [3 + 2] carbo-annulation by using Ru-catalysis.

From the eyed-ova stage, embryos were exposed to either low (8 ± 1 °C, LT-8) or high (16 ± 1 °C, HT-16) temperatures until hatching. Following hatching, half of the sac-fry from LT-8 group were shifted to higher temperature (16 ± 1 °C, LHT-16), and half from HT-16 group were shifted to medium temperature (13 ± 1 °C, HMT-13), for larval rearing.

The proposed solution is based on the integration of simple network management protocol (SNMP), Kullback-Leibler distance (KLD), access control rules (ACL), and moving target defense (MTD) techniques. The SNMP and KLD techniques are used to detect DDoS and false data sharing attacks, while the ACL and MTD techniques are applied to mitigate these attacks by hardening the target and reducing the attack surface.

In the present study, for the first time in coconut, we have identified 597 ncRNA-derived SSR markers, including 509 long non-coding RNASSRs (lncRNASSRs) and 88 micro RNASSRs (miRNASSRs). Of these, 20 primers (10 each from lncRNA-SSR and miRNA-SSR) were selected, screened on 6 coconut accessions, and 50% produced polymorphic fragments.
