Dye-sensitized solar cells, represent the alternate technology in solar research due to their cost effective, easy fabrication processes, higher efficiencies, and design flexibility. In this research, dual donor group modified zinc porphyrin dyes, have been synthesized for DSSCs. The complexes of zinc porphyrin functioned as acceptor or attaching groups within each mesophenyl ring and carboxylic acid.

Herein, various concentrations (1-5%, 10% and 20%) of nickel (Ni) doped CeO nanoparticle have been made by a facile chemical process. Using a variety of cutting-edge analytical techniques, the structural, optical, and photocatalytic properties of undoped and varied concentrations (1-5%, 10%, and 20%) of Ni doped CeO nanoparticles have been investigated.

We had previously explored a few isatin-based imidazole derivatives for their predicted dual activity against both inflammation and cancer. We explored 47 different isatin-based derivatives (IBDs) for other potential biological activities using tools and found them to possess anti-viral activity.

Herein, heterostructure based nickel-molybdenum (NiO@Ni(OH)-α-MoO) nanocomposites have been successfully prepared on nickel foil via hydrothermal route for supercapacitor application. The mixed phases of cubic, hexagonal, and orthorhombic crystal structure for NiO, Ni(OH), and α-MoO, respectively were observed by X-ray diffraction.

The yield of the products was found to be up to a maximum of 92% when using this catalyst. Antioxidant, anti-breast cancer and anti-inflammatory activities of these 13 isatin-based derivatives (named as 5a-m) were assessed.

Electron donor-/acceptor-substituted indole-imine (5a-g) was achieved, and the structures were elucidated by FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS. Inhibition potency of PI3Ks was assessed by competitive ELISA.

He was febrile at 38°C and weak looking; otherwise no other abnormalities were detected. A blood film conducted for malarial parasite (BFMP) revealed Plasmodium falciparum; hence a diagnosis of cerebral malaria was made.

Advanced form of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis or Forestier's disease can induce dysphagia and significant airway symptoms such as hoarseness, snoring, dyspnoea on exertion and laryngeal stridor. We have discussed the diagnosis and management of an unusual case with respiratory distress due to left cricoarytenoid joint fixation and right vocal cord paresis in conjunction with skeletal pathology.
