Chronic pancreatitis is a benign disease which causes recurrent abdominal pain and loss of pancreatic function. Lateral pancreaticojejunostomy (LPJ) is a commonly performed drainage procedure for this condition. While usually performed through an open approach, there have been few cases of laparoscopic approaches for this condition.

The proposed approach introduces a hybrid model for Underwater Object Detection (UOD), combining Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) with a Restricted Boltzmann Machine (RBM). Bi-LSTM excels at capturing long-term dependencies and processing sequences bidirectionally to enhance comprehension of both past and future contexts.

This method, which eliminates the need for high-temperature calcination, involves embedding CeO into Zr nanoparticles through 1 hr (CeO-Zr-1) and 2 hrs (CeO-Zr-2) of ultrasonic irradiation, resulting in the formation of nanostructures with significant improvements in their electrochemical properties. Through physicochemical analysis, we observed that the CeO-doped Zr nanoparticles, particularly those treated for 2 hrs (CeO-Zr-2), exhibit superior crystalline phase purity, optimal chemical surface composition, minimal agglomeration with particle sizes below 50 nm, and an impressive average surface area of 178 m/g.

We performed a retrospective review of culture confirmed neurologic melioidosis reported between 2017 and 2023. Thirteen patients were identified with median age 43 years and all but three were males.

The effects of surface physical properties and elevated nitrate concentrations on the growth of Ulva spores were evaluated using ATR-FTIR analysis, water contact angle measurements and fluorescence microscopy. The weathering process conducted with seawater led to the emergence of new functional groups such as CO, CH (rock), and CH, alongside a reduction in existing groups on the polymers, as evidenced by ATR-FTIR.

Methods: A total of 89 carbapenem resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae from various clinical samples were included in the study. CAZ-AVI resistance was tested using E-test.
Introduction: Over the years, smallholder farmers have faced more vulnerability to risk and uncertainty in India due to their dependence on cereal crops. One way to reduce this risk is through diversified agriculture, integrating different practices for efficient resource utilization, and adopting a farming systems approach. An integrated farming system (IFS) is one such technique that provides year-round income from different components of enterprises.

The past decades have seen the field of oncology becoming far more receptive to integrative oncology. Music therapy has been used to mitigate symptoms and address psychosocial needs in people with cancer as an adjunct to the primary treatment. Providing patients access to sources of aesthetic support, like a deeply personal choice of musical playlist, may help cognitive recovery and elevate mood in patients undergoing treatment or recovery.

However, FDM also has some limitations such as the appearance of seam lines between layers and the production of excess material residue leading to poor surface finish, poor bonding between layers and porosity. This paper presents the findings on the application of ultrasonic vibration in an open-source FDM 3D printer to investigate its effect on the mechanical properties and microstructure of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and Polylactic Acid (PLA) samples.

Aspergillus spondylodiscitis is a rare entity reported in the literature. In tuberculosis endemic regions like India, more often it could be misdiagnosed as tuberculous spondylodiscitis. Herein we report a case series of three patients with Aspergillus spondylodiscitis presenting with chronic low backpain and clinically diagnosed as tuberculosis spine.

Since RACs are generally consumed by humans as the processed foods (PF), it is imperative to monitor the levels of pesticide residues in them in order to approach a realistic analysis of dietary exposure and concomitant health risk assessment. In India, production and consumption of PFs have a rising trend and hence it is indispensable to monitor the residue levels of pesticides in largely consumed PFs.

In the domain of remote sensing, the classification of hyperspectral image (HSI) has become a popular topic. In general, the complicated features of hyperspectral data cause the precise classification difficult for standard machine learning approaches. Deep learning-based HSI classification has lately received a lot of interest in the field of remote sensing and has shown promising results.

In this study, we investigated the prevalence of such cytoplasmic bacterial associations in field plants across different taxa, their cultivability, and the extent of taxonomic diversity and explored the possibility of their embryo-mediated vertical transmission. Over 100 genera of field plants were surveyed for 'Cytobacts' through bright-field live-cell imaging as per our previous experience using fresh tissue sections from surface-sterilized shoot-tissues with parallel cultivation-based assessments.
