Introduction Despite efforts, tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem in developing countries, and India alone accounts for most of the global TB cases. Although the treatment for TB is highly successful, a significant number of TB patients in India do not complete their assigned treatment. Social support has a key influence on medication adherence for chronic illnesses like diabetes, asthma, HIV, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and TB.

Seeking sustainable alternatives, nanotechnology-based agrochemicals leverage unique physical and chemical properties to boost seed health and alleviate stress during germination. Nanoprimers in seed priming treatment are advanced nanoscale materials designed to enhance seed germination, growth, and stress tolerance by delivering bioactive compounds and nutrients directly to seeds.

PCVs primarily prevent pneumococcal infections such as sepsis, bacteraemia, meningitis, otitis media, pneumonia, septicaemia, and sinusitis among infants, adults, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The current available PCVs only cover a limited number of serotypes, and there is an immense need for developing higher-valent PCVs that can protect against non-vaccine serotypes to overcome challenges like serotype replacement and antibiotic resistance.

The influence of deviation in the weight % of carbon nanotube loading on photocatalytic dye degradation (methylene blue and rose bengal) and antibiotic (antimicrobial and antifungal) performance was investigated in this study. The light capture ability of Ag-loaded ZnO:CNT in the visible region was higher in photocatalytic activity than that of Ag-loaded ZnO and ZnO:CNT.

A series of 1, 2, 4, 5-tetrasubstituted imidazole derivatives were synthesized and their antibiofilm potential against was evaluated . Two of the synthesized derivatives IC= 25 µg/mL) and (IC= 6 µg/mL),displayed better antifungal and antibiofilm potential than the standard drug Fluconazole (IC = 40 µg/mL) against . Based on the results, we escalated the real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis to gain knowledge of the enzymes expressed in the generation and maintenance of biofilms and the mechanism of biofilm inhibition by the synthesized analogues.

Among the different morphological forms, opaque form is one of the least-studied ones. This opaque phenotype is essential for mating and is also reported to be involved in colonizing the gastrointestinal tract.
