- The study analyzed the incidence of surgically managed Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury (TSCI) in Singapore and identified factors influencing patient discharge locations from two level one trauma centers from 2020 to 2021.
- Out of 44 patients, the majority were elderly (median age 65), with falls being the leading cause of injury, and half of the patients were discharged home while the others were sent to community hospitals or nursing homes.
