The development of a metallic copper-based catalyst system remains a significant challenge. Herein, we report the synthesis of highly stable, active, and reusable Cu0 catalyst for the carboboration of alkynes using carbon electrophiles and bis(pinacolato)diboron (B2pin2) as chemical feedstocks to afford di- and trisubstituted vinylboronate esters in a regio- and stereoselective manner with appreciable turnover number (TON) of up to 2535 under mild reaction conditions. This three-component coupling reaction works well with a variety of substituted electrophiles and alkynes with broad functional group tolerance.

This solid-state RZAB was accomplished by integrating a bifunctional electrocatalyst based on Ru-RuO interface nanoparticles supported on nitrogen-doped (N-doped) graphene (Ru-RuO/NGr) and a dual-doped poly(acrylic acid) hydrogel (d-PAA) electrolyte soaked in KOH with sodium stannate additive. The catalyst shows enhanced activity and stability toward the two oxygen reactions, i.

However, attaining this goal is still challenging due to the serious drawbacks of existing adsorbents such as limited capacity, low retention efficiency, and sluggish uptake kinetics. Herein, we report a strategy-driven systematic study aimed at significantly enhancing multiple host-guest interactions to obtain functionalized covalent-organic frameworks for the efficient sequestration of bromine.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTc is one of the potentially toxic radioactive substances owing to its long half-life and a high degree of environmental mobility. Hence, the sequestration of Tc from radioactive waste has become enormously important and a contemporary research priority. However, selective extraction of this species in its stable oxoanionic form (TcO ) is very challenging on account of bottlenecks such as low charge density, less hydrophilic nature, Herein, an ultrathin hybrid composite material has been strategically designed and fabricated by covalent anchoring of a chemically stable amino functionalized nanosized cationic metal-organic polyhedron with a positively charged robust ionic covalent organic framework.

In this work, a unique catalyst, PtIr@AlOOH/NGr i.e.

The hexamethyl derivative of NTA (HMNTA) forms the weakest two successive complexes with UO ions with stability constants of log β = 3.5 ± 0.

Crop releases volatiles in response to the pest; hence, sensing these volatile signals at a very early stage will ease pest management. Here, binary catalyst-loaded SnO nanoparticles of <5 nm were synthesized for the repeated capture and oxidation of the signature volatile and its products to amplify the chemoresistive signal to detect concentrations as low as ≈120 ppb.
