TPAAS: Trustworthy privacy-preserving anonymous authentication scheme for online trading environment.

In recent years with the improvement of information communication technology (ICT) and wireless communication, Online Trading Environment (OTE) has become a popular E-commerce platform to connect sellers and buyers in an efficient way. As, OTE's are increasing in a wider range, the authentication and verification of entities in OTE network becomes a challenging task. Although, some authentication schemes exist in OTE's, they have flaws such as account creation delays, authentication delays, communication cost and user privacy.

Audio-vestibular Findings in a Patient with Pelizaeus- Merzbacher Disease.

Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease (PMD) is an X-linked recessive rare disease condition in which audiological deficit is also observed. A 4-year-old male child with PMD underwent an audiological evaluation. The results suggested normal middle ear and outer hair cells functioning, with only peak I of the auditory brainstem response present until 30 dBnHL.

Purpose Of Review: This review focuses on latest developments in managing antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV), a systemic autoimmune condition characterized by inflammation and necrosis of small blood vessels due to circulating autoantibodies that target neutrophilic granules.

Recent Findings: Our understanding of AAV pathogenesis has evolved in the past decades highlighting the central pathogenic roles of autoantibodies and complement activation. In parallel, the appreciation for glucocorticoid toxicity has led the research on crucial steroid-sparing therapeutic alternatives.

Treatment outcomes of digital nasoalveolar moulding in infants with cleft lip and palate: A systematic review with meta-analysis.

The aim of this systematic review was to compare the treatment outcomes of digital nasoalveolar moulding (dNAM) technique with conventional nasoalveolar moulding (cNAM) or non-presurgical intervention protocol in infants with unilateral (UCLP) or bilateral (BCLP) cleft lip and palate. A bibliometric search by MEDLINE (via Ovid), Embase, Cochrane Library, grey literature and manual method was conducted without language restriction until November 2023. Literature screening and data extraction were undertaken in Covidence.

Drug-related problems in cancer patients: A systematic review.

Background: Cancer patients are at a significantly increased risk of drug-related problems due to multiple drugs. An inclusive review of drug-related problems would offer an approach for healthcare providers to decrease the frequency of drug-related problems in cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to assess all characteristic components of drug-related problems in cancer patients, and explore actions taken to resolve the detected drug-related problems the results could be used as a baseline for epidemiology and potential related risk factors for drug-related problems in cancer patients.

Characterization of carbon fluxes, stock and nutrients in the sacred forest groves and invasive vegetation stands within the human dominated landscapes of a tropical semi-arid region.

In the semi-arid plains of Southern India, outside the protected area network, sacred groves forests and the barren lands invaded by Prosopis juliflora are reckoned to be the major greenery, but have homogenous and heterogeneous vegetation respectively. This study attempted to compare 50 Sacred Groves Stands (SGS) and 50 monodominant Prosopis juliflora Stands (PJS) for the functional diversity, evenness, floral diversity, carbon stock and dynamics, carbon-fixing traits, dendrochronology of trees, soil nutrient profiles, and soil erosion. Quadrat sample survey was adopted to record stand density, species richness, abundance, basal area and leaf area index; composite soil samples were collected at depths 0-30 cm for nutrient profiling (N, P, K, and OC).

Calciphylaxis in a Patient With Lupus Nephritis and Acute Kidney Injury: A Rare Case Report and Literature Review.

Calciphylaxis is a rare and severe disease characterized by calcification, fibrosis, and thrombosis of small blood vessels. Although it primarily affects patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) on dialysis, limited cases have been reported of calciphylaxis in patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and lupus. This case report describes the occurrence of calciphylaxis in a 35-year-old female recently diagnosed with lupus nephritis class IV and AKI requiring dialysis.

Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) refers to a patient centered, multidisciplinary team developed pathway aimed at reducing the surgical stress response and facilitating expedited patient postoperative recovery. These protocols have been largely developed in the general surgery literature and have led to vast improvements in the patient experience. ERAS protocols are generally substantiated on 3 phases along the continuum of surgical care: preadmission optimization, intraoperative treatment, and postoperative management.

Optimal Conservative Therapy Use among Adult Cure Glomerulonephropathy Participants with IgA Nephropathy.

Optimal supportive therapy with BP and proteinuria control is pivotal in treating patients with IgA nephropathy. Suboptimal treatment of hypertension and proteinuria persisted in many patients with IgA nephropathy in the Cure Glomerulonephropathy Network study. Many patients had above-target proteinuria despite optimal BP control and may benefit from novel therapies or clinical trials.

Evolution of Therapy for ANCA-Associated Vasculitis with Kidney Involvement.

ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) belongs to a group of small vessel systemic vasculitides characterized by granulomatous and neutrophilic inflammation of various tissues. Patients often have circulating autoantibodies targeting neutrophilic antigens. Although AAV was once associated with severe end-organ damage and extremely high mortality rates, the use of glucocorticoids and cyclophosphamide led to a paradigm change in its treatment.

Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) is the most common primary glomerulonephritis worldwide and a frequent cause of kidney failure. Currently, the diagnosis necessitates a kidney biopsy, with routine immunofluorescence microscopy revealing IgA as the dominant or co-dominant immunoglobulin in the glomerular immuno-deposits, often with IgG and sometimes IgM or both. Complement protein C3 is observed in most cases.

Methods: People with COPD and moderate to very severe airways obstruction and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale subscale scores indicating mild to moderate anxiety (HADS-A) and/or depression (HADS-D) were randomised 1.25:1 (242 intervention and 181 control).
