Pemphigus vulgaris in a neonate born to a mother with pemphigus vulgaris: A case report.

Key Clinical Message: Active pemphigus vulgaris in the mother can lead to neonatal pemphigus vulgaris, which is usually self-limiting. Systemic corticosteroids are the mainstay of managing PV during pregnancy and until the child is breastfed.

Abstract: Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a potentially life-threatening autoimmune disease characterized by bullae and erosions over the skin and mucous membrane.

Diagnostic utility of triple antibody (AMACR, HMWCK and P63) stain in prostate neoplasm.

Aims And Objective: In recent period, basal cell markers high molecular weight cytokeratin (HMWCK), P63 and prostate biomarker AMACR have been used as adjuvant to morphology in diagnostically challenging cases with a very high sensitivity and specificity.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective study, total of 80 cases including 40 cases of malignant lesions and 40 cases of benign lesions of the prostate were taken. Tumor grade was determined according to Gleason's grading system.

Sinonasal Schwannoma - A Case Report.

Ancient schwannoma of the orbit.

The ancient schwannoma is a rare variant of a neurilemoma with a course typical of a slow-growing benign neoplasm. Histologically, it can be confused with a malignant mesenchymal tumor because of increased cellularity, nuclear pleomorphism, and hyperchromatism. Despite the degree of nuclear atypia, mitotic figures are absent.

Mucinous carcinoma of the male breast with axillary lymph node metastasis: Report of a case based on fine needle aspiration cytology.

Pure mucinous carcinoma of the male breast is an uncommon malignant breast neoplasm and extremely rare is its metastasis in axillary lymph nodes. Most of these cases have been diagnosed after surgical resection with only a few cases diagnosed on fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). Although FNAC is well established in the evaluation of breast masses in females there are few reports in males.

Primary malignant melanoma of cervix: a case report.

Primary malignant melanoma of cervix is a rare entity. A case of primary malignant melanoma of cervix presented with vaginal discharge and black colored growth over cervix. Histology showed malignant pleomorphic cells with melanin pigment in the cytoplasm.

Epidermal reinnervation after intracutaneous axotomy in man.

Two distinct patterns of reinnervation occur after injury to the cutaneous nerves: regenerative growth of the injured nerve and "collateral sprouting" of neighboring intact nerves. We describe two complementary models of regrowth of transected small sensory fibers in human skin. The "incision" model uses a circular incision that transects the subepidermal plexus, resulting in Wallerian degeneration of the nerve fibers that enter the incised cylinder, leaving a defined zone of denervated dermis and epidermis.
