Purpose: To describe a case of outer retinitis with frosted branch angiitis associated with mumps infection treated with hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy.
Methods: Observational case report.
Case Report: A four-year-old boy with bilateral blindness was diagnosed with necrotizing outer retinitis with frosted branch angiitis associated with serologically confirmed mumps virus infection.
Introduction: This report describes a case of central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) and cilioretinal artery occlusion (CLRAO) after hormonal treatment for induction of ovulation that was successfully treated with hyperbaric oxygen.
Case Report: A 48 year-old woman was admitted to our department for sudden blurred vision in her left eye. The patient had a history of 3-months hormonal treatment for induction of ovulation.
Mucormycosis is a rapidly progressing and lethal infection caused by fungi of the order mucorales. The disease occurs mostly in patients with uncontrolled diabetes or other predisposing systemic conditions. We report a case of rhinofacial mucormycosis in a 39-year-old diabetic patient.

A total of 199 women underwent blood typing and an extensive thombophilia screening. Factor V Leiden, FII G20210A, protein C deficiency and non-O blood group were significantly associated with venous thromboembolism during pregnancy and postpartum period.
