Because of a number of shortcomings, previous work has established a potential to use these cells after transplantation into the mouse brain. Here, we describe a systematic approach for the analysis of transplanted hiPSC-derived neurons and glial cells over time in the mouse brain.

Polypharmacy is a common issue in patients with chronic diseases. Eastern-European countries and Iran are exploring possibilities for implementing the Medication Use Review (MUR) as a measure for optimizing medication use and ensuring medication safety in polypharmacy patients. The aim of this study was to gain insights into the development of the community pharmacy sector and map facilitators and barriers of MUR in Eastern Europe and Iran.

A chimeric mouse model to study human iPSC-derived neurons: the case of a truncating SHANK3 mutation.

Using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), recent studies have shown that the events underlying autism spectrum disorders (ASD) can occur during neonatal development. We previously analyzed the iPSC-derived pyramidal cortical neurons of a subset of patients with ASD carrying de novo heterozygous mutations in postsynaptic SHANK3 protein, in culture. We reported altered spinogenesis of those neurons.

The present study has been undertaken in order to highlight the healing effect of vegetable oil. The seeds of this plant contain an oil rate of 30%. The obtained results on the main elements composing the vegetable oil have shown that vegetable oil has a low value of acidity index and it presents a not negligible degree of unsaturation.

Penetrating injury to the cardiac box.

Background: A penetrating injury to the "cardiac box" is thought to be predictive of an injury to the heart; however, there is very little evidence available to support this association. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between penetrating trauma to the cardiac box and a clinically significant injury.

Methods: All patients presenting to a Level I trauma center from January 2009 to June 2015 who sustained a penetrating injury isolated to the thorax were retrospectively identified.

The PHARMINE ("") project examined the organisation of pharmacy practice and education in the European Union (EU). An electronic survey was sent out to representatives of different sectors (community, hospital, industrial pharmacists, university staff, and students) in each individual EU member state. This paper presents the results of the PHARMINE survey on pharmacy practice and education in Romania.

[Gelatinous dystrophy of the cornea. Apropos of 5 cases].

Gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy is a rare disease, described for the first time by Nakaizumi (Japan) in 1914. We report 5 cases of this primary corneal amyloidosis. Three of our patients are brothers, the two other cases are isolated cases.
