- The essential oils were created through water distillation and were added to a growth medium, revealing a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 250 ppm and a minimum lethal concentration (MLC) of 500 ppm.
- The results showed that treating eggs with 500 ppm of oregano and laurel during water hardening led to the highest larval hatching rates compared to controls, indicating these essential oils are more effective than formalin in combating the disease.
