Background: Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) often stems from a hypercoagulable state that exacerbates conditions such as antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and thrombophilia, leading to early placental issues. Although treatments such as low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) and low-dose aspirin (LDA) are used, outcomes vary. This study proposes using first-trimester Doppler ultrasound - specifically, uterine radial artery resistance index (URa-RI) at 8 weeks and uterine artery pulsatility index (Ut-PI) with pre-diastolic notching (Ut-notch) at 11-13 weeks - to better predict successful pregnancies and reduce risks of adverse outcomes.

Administration of cholinesterase inhibitor compounds is the primary choice in the treatment of ALZ, one of which is rivastigmine (RVT). Several routes of administration of RVT are available, such as oral and transdermal.

Positive transformants developed shoots within 4-5 weeks and were transferred to a root induction medium and four independent transformants with no observed adverse effects were kept for anlysis. Quantitative RT-PCR indicated significantly higher VpVAN expression in transgenic lines AG_3 and AG_1, impacting the phenylpropanoid pathway and phenolic compound accumulation.

Understanding their movement patterns concerning conspecific competition and prey availability is important for their conservation. We aim to understand how movement pattern of breeding saker falcons relates to prey availability.

Amidst increasing cancer incidence, the quest for safer and more effective treatments has brought diosmin to the forefront, given its unique pharmacological profile distinct from other flavonoids. Diosmin's anticancer mechanisms are multifaceted, involving apoptosis induction, angiogenesis inhibition, and metastasis prevention.

This study focuses on removing the hazardous cationic Malachite Green (MG) dye from solutions, employing a novel magnetic composite film as an adsorbent, designated as AgCo FeO (ACFCeP). The composite was synthesized solvent casting, incorporating AgCo FeO nanoparticles and CeO into a cellulose acetate/polyvinylpyrrolidone (CA/PVP) polymer matrix.

The experimental results indicated a chemical reaction occurred because of a hydrogen bonding, followed by proton transfer from the DCNP to the 3,4-DAP in different polar media. The Benesi-Hildebrand equation was used to estimate the formation constant (), molar absorptivity (ε), and other physical parameters.

Natural vanillin extracted from vanilla beans is expensive, so researchers use heterologous synthesis to produce nature-identical vanillin in plant hosts. Consequently, alternative traditional farming and gathering methods are required to bridge the significant disparity between supply and demand.

A variant of the adsorbent is activated via sulfuric acid and composited with magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (DSMNC). Both adsorbents are thoroughly characterized using techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, point of zero charge, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy, which show that they have a porous structure rich in active sites.

However, supervisors may be unaware of behaviours that explicitly facilitate or inhibit their students' or residents' SRL, therefore this BEME review explores the role of the supervisor in SRL in clinical environments.
Methods: A qualitative systematic review using meta-aggregation was performed, seeking to draw on the knowledge of included studies and the participants those studies represent to create context-rich recommendations that are relevant and applicable to practice.
Objective: This study aimed to determine the differences in characteristics and outcomes of early-onset and late-onset Preeclampsia.
Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on female patients giving birth with preeclampsia admitted into the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung from January 2020 to December 2022 who met the study criteria.
Objectives: To identify the effectiveness of an android-based paediatric assessment triangle application in emergency diagnostics.
Methods: The action research study was conducted in the emergency department of a hospital under the Ministry of Defence, Indonesia, located within the Ministry of Defence Rehabilitation Centre Complex, from April to December 2020 after approval from the ethics review committee of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, employing quantitative and qualitative methods consisting of planning, acting, observing and reflecting stages. Emergency department nurses with at least D3 nursing graduation who were able to identify emergency status in children were included.
Microplastics (MPs) are present in ambient air in a respirable size fraction; however, their potential impact on human health via inhalation routes is not well documented. In the present study, methods for a lab-scale generation of MPs from regularly used and littered plastic articles were optimized. The toxicity of 11 different types of MPs, both commercially purchased and in-lab prepared MPs, was investigated in lung epithelial cells using cell viability, immune and inflammatory response, and genotoxicity endpoints.

An essential aromatic plant, Pelargonium graveolens, does not grow well in areas where chromium contamination is a problem. Because of oxidative stress and the collapse of the photosynthetic system, crops frequently sustain severe damage. The production of excess ethylene, known as stress ethylene, which is detrimental to plant growth, the formation of roots, and early senescence, is also increased by heavy metal exposure.

The causes of abdominal pain in women of childbearing age range from benign and temporary to potentially life threatening. Rare etiologies such as spontaneous ruptured endometrioma are often not included in the radar of diagnosis due to their rarity and non-specific signs and symptoms in the patient.

Objectives: The authors aimed to estimate age and sex-specific disability-free life expectancy (DFLE) for urban and rural areas of Bangladesh, as well as to investigate the differences in DFLE between males and females of urban and rural areas.
Methods: Data from the Bangladesh Sample Vital Statistics-2016 and the Bangladesh Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES)-2016 were used to calculate the disability-free life expectancy (DFLE) of urban and rural males and females in Bangladesh in 2016.
Banana pseudo-stem, often considered as an underutilized plant part was explored as a potential reinforced material to develop an eco-friendly biofilm for food packaging applications. In this study, Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) was extracted from banana pseudo-stem by alkali and acid hydrolysis treatment. The extracted MCC was used as a reinforced material in different concentrated polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix alone as well as both PVA and Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) matrix to develop biofilm by solvent casting method.
