Student perspectives on student-led family medicine clinics in Qatar: a descriptive qualitative study.

Background: Student-led clinic is an educational-professional training environment where students are leading the care of patients under the supervision of licensed health care professionals. This study aims to explore medical students' experiences in leading family medicine clinics in Qatar.

Methods: The study used a qualitative descriptive method.

COVID-19 has affected all aspects of human life so far. From the outset of the pandemic, preventing the spread of COVID-19 through the observance of health protocols, especially the use of sanitizers and disinfectants was given more attention. Despite the effectiveness of disinfection chemicals in controlling and preventing COVID-19, there are critical concerns about their adverse effects on human health.

Evaluation of Qatar's First Cardiac Rehabilitation Program: A Brief Report.

Background: There are few studies on the impact of cardiac rehabilitation (CR) in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR), where the burden of risk factors and context is somewhat different from Western countries where much of the evidence is derived.

Objective: To evaluate patient engagement in, and outcomes associated with, participation in Qatar's first and only CR program, from inception.

Methods: This was a retrospective, observational study of patients referred to Heart Hospital's CR program from January 2013-September, 2018.
