Prevalence and Factors Associated With Using Complementary Medicine Among Adults With Type 2 Diabetes in Primary Healthcare Centers of Al-Ahsa, Eastern Saudi Arabia.

Background and aim Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a major health problem in Saudi Arabia. The use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for the management of T2DM is increasing, but there is limited research on its safety and efficacy. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and factors associated with CAM use among patients with T2DM attending primary healthcare centers in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
