Background: We aimed to establish a prognostic model for gingival squamous cell carcinoma (GSCC) that was superior to traditional AJCC staging and to perform a comprehensive comparison of the newly established nomogram with the AJCC staging system.

Methods: We extracted 2,076 patients with gingival squamous cell carcinoma who had been entered into the SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results) database between 2004 and 2015, and randomly divided 70% of them into the training cohort and the other 30% into the validation cohort. Cox regression analysis was performed in combination with clinical experience and age, race, sex, marital status, tumor location, histological subtype, tumor grade, AJCC stage, chemotherapy status, radiotherapy status, and surgery status as possible prognostic factors.

We aimed to establish and validate a nomogram for predicting the disease-specific survival of invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) patients.The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program database was used to identify ILC from 2010 to 2015, in which the data was extracted from 18 registries in the US. Multivariate Cox regression analysis was performed to identify independent prognostic factors and a nomogram was constructed to predict the 3-year and 5-year survival rates of ILC patients based on Cox regression.

A competing-risks model was developed in this study to identify the significant prognostic factors and evaluate the cumulative incidence of cause-specific death in gallbladder adenocarcinoma (GBAC), with the aim of providing guidance on effective clinical treatments.All patients with GBAC in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database during 1973 to 2015 were identified. The potential prognostic factors were identified using competing-risks analyses implemented using the R and SAS statistical software packages.

Background: The aim of this study was to establish a comprehensive nomogram for the cancer-specific survival (CSS) of patients with upper-tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) and compare it with the traditional American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system in order to determine its reliability.

Methods: This study analyzed 9505 patients with UTUC in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. R software was used to randomly divided the patients in a 7-to-3 ratio to form a training cohort (n = 6653) and a validation cohort (n = 2852).
