ortho-Nitroaniline (o-NA) compounds are deemed to be a strongly toxic pollutant in nature and potentially carcinogenic; however, they are frequently utilized to synthesize dyes, pesticides, medicines, fungicides, pigments, and other organic chemicals. Their detection in an aqueous medium is fundamentally required to avoid the potential hazardous being created by these compounds. In this study, a novel sensor based on an Iron oxide (FeO) containing highly dispersed nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (N-CQDs@FeO NFs) was demonstrated for the electrochemical detection of o-NA using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) techniques.

The PEDOT:PSS water dispersions with various concentrations of poly (4-styrenesulfonic acid) solution (PSSAS) were synthesized by 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) in the presence of water. The fabrication of the solvent-treated PEDOT:PSS films through spin coating and solvent treatment processes was achieved with a solvent of pure water mixed with acetone (or MeOH, EtOH) in a ratio of 50:50.

A simplistic approach of electrochemical deposition method has been used to prepare the N-CQD incorporated with copper oxide (N-CQD/CuO) and the resulting composite has characterized by analytical techniques. Modified glassy carbon electrode of N-CQD/CuO/GCE is developed and is used for the sensor studies of aspirin.

The VO NF were characterized by Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray analyzer (EDX), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Remarkably, the as-synthesized VO NF exhibited excellent electrochemical behavior and electrochemical ability towards MR.

Power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.75% was achieved for this DSSCs device, which is greater than that of DSSCs devices using GO/TiO, and NiO/TiO based photo-anodes (PCE=8.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA highly sensitive o-phenylenediamine (OPD) sensor based on a FeO doped with functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (FeO@f-MWCNTs) composite fabricated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was developed. The modified FeO@f-MWCNTs/GCE showed an enhanced current (I) response toward OPD relative to that of a FeO/GCE, f-MWCNTs/GCE, and a bare GCE. Under optimum conditions, the FeO@f-MWCNTs/GCE showed a wide linear range remove at OPD concentrations of 0.
