A hydrogen sulfate salt, CHNSe·HSO ·HO or [BnSeCHCH(Ph)NH ](HSO ), of a chiral selenated amine ()-2-(benzyl-selan-yl)-1-phenyl-ethan-amine (BnSeCHCH(Ph)NH) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,H and C{H} NMR, FT-IR analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The title salt crystallizes in the monohydrate form in the non-centrosymmetric monoclinic 2 space group. The cation is somewhat W shaped with the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings being 60.

The current work portrays the green synthesis of Lignin Capped Silver Nanoparticles (LCSN) and their antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and antiplatelet potential. The LCSN was synthesized in water using a carbohydrate based polymer 'lignin' as the reducing and capping agents. The peak at 406nm (λ) in the UV-Vis.

In the title chiral mol-ecular salt, C4H12NO3S(+)·Cl(-), the cation is protonated at the N atom, producing [RNH3](+), where R is CH3SO2OCH2C(H)CH3. The N atom in the cation is sp (3)-hybridized. In the crystal, cations and anions are connected by strong N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds to generate edge-shared 12-membered rings of the form {⋯Cl⋯HNH}3.

In the title mol-ecular salt, C10H15ClNS(+)·Cl(-), the cation is [R'R"NH2](+), where R' is 2-MeS-C6H4CH2- and R" is -CH2CH2Cl, and the anion is Cl(-). In the cation, the N atom is protonated with sp (3)-hybridization and with a tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, the anions are connected to the cations through two pairs of N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, generating a four-centred inversion dimer with an R 4 (2)(8) ring motif.
