In Italy, 20 minutes of continuous, flat-line electrocardiogram are required for death declaration, which significantly increases the risks of donation after circulatory death (DCD) LT. Despite prolonged warm ischemia time, Italian centers reported good outcomes in controlled donation after circulatory death LT by combining normothermic regional and end-ischemic machine perfusion. However, data on uncontrolled DCD (uDCD) LT performed by this approach are lacking.

Introduction: Few studies analysed the impact of different venous resection techniques on recurrence in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Primary aim was to compare local recurrence rate and disease-free survival (DFS) between patients who underwent pancreatectomy with tangential versus segmental resection of portal vein/superior mesenteric vein.

Materials And Methods: All consecutive patients who underwent pancreatectomy with venous resection for PDAC between 2009 and 2019 were included.

Background: Graft quality from extended criteria donors (ECDs) is extremely wide, and a reliable evaluation parameter is required. So far, biopsy is widely used to evaluate ECD organs and to decide whether double (DKT) or single (SKT) kidney transplantation should be performed. The aim of this study is to compare renal resistance (RR) trend during hypothermic machine perfusion (HMP) with a preimplantation biopsy score.

At the end of a laparoscopic major hepatectomy, an incision wide enough for specimen retrieval is required. Classically, Pfannenstiel (PF) incision is the type of access favored as service incision in laparoscopy. However, in specific settings the use of a midline (ML) incision can be favorable, with doubtful impaction on the outcomes of a purely laparoscopic operation.

Purpose: This multicentric international retrospective study aimed to report the outcome of robot-assisted extravesical ureteral reimplantation (REVUR) in patients with unilateral vesico-ureteral reflux (VUR).

Methods: The medical records of 55 patients (35 girls, 20 boys) underwent REVUR in four international centers of pediatric robotic surgery for primary unilateral VUR were retrospectively reviewed. Patients' average age was 4.
