Sporadic small vessel disease (sSVD) is one of the most common vascular disease of the central nervous system (CNS). It is the main cause of lacunar stokes, hemorrhages to deep brain regions and chronic CNS diseases such as vascular parkinsonism and dementia. Beside a high and growing incidence of sSVD especially in the elderly population, the knowledge of ethiopathogenesis and optimal treatment of sSVD have not been established.

A case report of exposure and neurotrophic keratopathy after acoustic neuroma surgery resulting in perforation if not managed appropriately and timely is presented. Sclerokeratoplasty on 360 degrees may be an effective treatment method of corneal perforation in complete anaesthetic cornea when the standard penetrating keratoplasty failed. At a 12-month follow-up, the patient is doing well.

Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of phacoemulsification - deep sclerectomy (PDS) with absorbable SK-gel or non-absorbable T-flux implantation.
