The Spine Raptor-a new genus of predatory katydid (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Phlugidini) from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest.

The Phlugidini tribe (Meconematinae: Tettigoniidae) currently comprises 10 genera and 64 species of small predatory katydids with Neotropical distribution. Herein, we describe the new genus Spinaraptor gen. nov.

New genus of Steirodontini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Phaneropterinae) from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest.

The tribe Steirodontini (Phaneropterinae: Tettigoniidae) currently comprises five genera and 56 species, with its distribution restricted to the Neotropical region. In Brazil, four genera and 20 species of this tribe are recorded, all with records restricted to the Brazilian Southeast and South regions. This fact is a strong indication that the Brazilian fauna of this group is underestimated.

New species of Tyrannoraptor Mendes, Oliveira, Chamorro-Rengifo & Rafael, 2018 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Phlugidini) with asymmetrical jaws from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest.

Tyrannoraptor Mendes, Oliveira, Chamorro-Rengifo & Rafael, 2018 (Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Phlugidini) is currently a monotypic genus. The type-species Tyrannoraptor arboreus (Nickle, 2003) is recorded to Peru (Loreto) and Brazil (Amazonas). In this work, we describe the second species of the genus, Tyrannoraptor venator sp.

The Austral Predator Katydid-new species of Megatympanon Piza, 1958 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Listroscelidinae: Terpandrini) from the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest.

Megatympanon Piza, 1958 (Tettigoniidae: Listroscelidinae: Terpandrini) is presently a monotypic genus and the only Terpandrini occurring in South America. The type-species M. speculatum Piza, 1958 is recorded in the Atlantic Forest biome in southeastern Brazil.

Redescription of Polichnodes americana Giglio-Tos, 1898 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) with a new record and habitat notes from Brazilian Amazon Rainforest.

In this work it was made the redescription of male of Polichnodes americana including new traits as internal genitalia and morphology of stridulatory files. Also it was recorded for the first time the distribution of this species to Brazil, in Amazonas, and notes on habitat.

A new species of Colacus Ohaus, 1910 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae) from the Mata Seca biotope of Brazil, and notes on Colacus morio Ohaus, 1910.

In this contribution, Colacus rubrofemoratus Sobral, Morais, Grossi new species (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Agaocephalini) is described and illustrated based on male specimens found in a transitional area of Caatinga, Atlantic Forest, and Cerrado in Brazil. In addition, the female of Colacus morio Ohaus, 1910 is redescribed, a distribution map for the genus is provided, and a new key to the species of Colacus is presented.

Two new species of Aegopsis Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae) from the central Brazilian Cerrado.

Two new species of Aegopsis Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Agaocephalini), Aegopsis diceratops Sobral Grossi new species and Aegopsis vazdemelloi Sobral Grossi new species, are described and illustrated based on specimens collected in Cerrado habitat in the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. The new species are similar to A. bolboceridus (Thomson, 1860).

Description of the imago of (Isoptera: Termitidae: Termitinae).

The neotropical termite genus Neocapritermes Holmgren (1912) was revised by Krishna & Araujo (1968), who recognized 14 valid species. Two additional species were described by Constantino (1991), and another one by Bandeira & Cancello (1992). However, the imago of most species of Neocapritermes remain unknown.

Innovative endoscopic sino-nasal and anterior skull base robotics.

Purpose: Design a compact, ergonomic, and safe endoscope positioner dedicated to the sino-nasal tract, and the anterior and middle-stage skull base.

Methods: A motion and force analysis of the surgeon's movement was performed on cadaver heads to gather objective data for specification purposes. An experimental comparative study was then performed with three different kinematics, again on cadaver heads, in order to define the best architecture satisfying the motion and force requirements.
