Endometrial cancer (EC) is the most prevalent gynaecological cancer in high-income countries and its incidence is continuing to rise sharply. Simple and objective tools to reliably detect women with EC are urgently needed. We recently developed and validated the DNA methylation (DNAme)-based women's cancer risk identification-quantitative polymerase chain reaction test for endometrial cancer (WID-qEC) test that could address this need.

Methods: Pathology databases searched for all para-aortic lymphadenectomy cases 2005-2016. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse baseline characteristics, cox models for treatment affect after accounting for variables, and Kaplan Meier curves for survival (STATA v15).
Introduction: The number of patients desiring fertility-preserving treatment for endometrial cancer rather than standard surgical management continues to increase.
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the efficacies of fertility-preserving treatments on the live birth rate, remission and relapse rates for women with stage 1a grade 1 endometrial carcinoma to support patient counselling.
Methods: We performed a meta-analysis for our primary outcomes of overall remission and relapse rate, and for secondary analysis, we divided papers into treatment type: systemic progestins, intrauterine progestins or hysteroscopic resection and adjuvant hormonal treatment.
Introduction: A rectosigmoid resection with anastomosis is a common component of cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer. Evidence from colorectal studies suggests that end-to-side anastomoses may be associated with fewer complications than end-to-end approaches, but these have not previously been compared in an ovarian cancer patient cohort.
Materials And Methods: Over a 51-month period, 239 patients underwent cytoreductive surgery for FIGO stage III/IV ovarian cancer.
Objective: To describe the current surgical management of stage 1 malignant ovarian germ cell tumours and correlated oncological outcomes.
Study Design: We undertook a retrospective study of all stage 1 primary ovarian germ cell tumours treated in four major UK gynaecology oncology centres over 12 years. We assessed route of surgery, fertility-sparing approaches, ovarian cystectomy alone, and surgical staging and correlated these with clinical outcomes.

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the incidence of congenital abnormalities of the kidneys and urinary tract (CAKUT) detected for the first time in an unselected population undergoing a routine third trimester scan between 30-34 week's gestation.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of 8562 routine third trimester ultrasound scans during which the fetal anatomy was evaluated, and, any structural abnormalities detected, recorded onto a fetal database which was subsequently analysed for CAKUT. All postnatal records of antenatally diagnosed CAKUT were obtained and analysed for diagnosis and management.
