Late pregnancy in women with renal transplants: A multidisciplinary guide.

Kidney transplant recipients are at risk of complications in late pregnancy, with increased rates of pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction and preterm birth. It is recommended that these women receive more intensive monitoring after 20 weeks' gestation, ideally provided by a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary centre. This review focuses on the management of late pregnancy in kidney transplant recipients, from the perspective of different members of the multidisciplinary team.
