Juvenile ossifying fibromas (JOFs) are a rare group of fibro-osseous lesions, typically of odontogenic origin. Juvenile psammomatoid ossifying fibroma (JPOF) is one variant, that is, histopathologically distinguished by spherical ossicles resembling psammoma bodies. JPOF tumours are most commonly found in craniofacial skeletal structures and can be locally aggressive.
