Background: The world is currently facing a pandemic due to a new species of the Coronaviridae family called SARS-CoV-2, discovered in the city of Wuhan in China in December 2019. The WHO has named the resulting disease COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). It has been a global health problem due to its major socio-economic damage.

Challenges in the Diagnosis and Management of Nephrotic Syndrome in a Child With Multisystemic Tuberculosis.

We report the case of a child who had tuberculosis associated with nephrotic syndrome. In this case, it was difficult to identify if the renal involvement was due to renal infection with mycobacterium tuberculosis, the consequence of nephrotoxicity of anti-bacillary drugs, or due to new onset of nephrosis. Management was complex as the use of high-dose steroids can disseminate the infection.

Protein-Losing Enteropathy Associated with Thrombotic Microangiopathic Features Revealing Hirschsprung's Disease in a Child.

We report the case of a 4-year-old boy with protein-losing enteropathy, leading to severe malnutrition. Associated thrombotic microangiopathic features made diagnosis difficult and challenging.

Yolk sac tumor (YST) is one of the malignant germ-cell tumors (MGCT) that usually occurs in the ovaries and testes of young patients. Its occurrence in the vagina is extremely rare. We present a rare case of extragonadal YST occurring in the vaginal region.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease (COVID 19) is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and is the causative agent of a serious disease that is of great global public health concern. Palsy of the third cranial nerve is very rare in patients with confirmed 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We describe the case of a patient with an incomplete palsy of the left third cranial nerve sparing the pupils in the context of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection.

The novel Coronavirus disease 2019 continues to be a worldwide pandemic. Yet, little is still known about the biological features of this emergent infection in children. In this prospective study, we collected 68 children infected with SARS-COV-2 from March 2020 to May 2020, in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The Prevalence of Celiac Disease-Specific Auto-Antibodies in Type 1 Diabetes in a Moroccan Population.

Objective: We aimed to determine the prevalence of specific auto-antibodies to celiac disease (CD) in Moroccan type 1 diabetic (T1D) patients and compare the clinical and biological characteristics of seropositive and seronegative cases.

Patients And Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out on 276 T1D patients including 109 adults and 167 pediatric cases. The screening for CD was performed by an Elisa IgA anti-tissue transglutaminase antibody (tTGA) testing, combined with IgA quantification by nephelometry.
