Streak-camera analysis of XeCl- and N(2)-pumped dye-laser outputs.

The temporal and spectral content of modified Hänsch-type organic dye lasers pumped by either XeC1 or N(2) lasers has been studied. Two extreme cases of amplitude-squared detector mode beating and mode-locked laser output are examined. Experimental consequences are briefly discussed.

Streak-camera observations of the pulse emission from a synchronously pumped continuous-wave mode-locked dye laser.

Pulse emission from a synchronously pumped cw mode-locked dye laser is investigated with a streak camera. Prominent satellite pulses with nonrepetitive temporal spacing can be detected that are difficult to observe with an autocorrelator.
