In the study we thoroughly analyze diffraction effects accompanying the laser beam transmission through inhomogeneous plasma microstructures and simulate their diffraction patterns at the object output and in the near field. For this we solve the scalar Helmholtz wave equation in the first Rytov approximation and compute the diffraction spreading of the transmitted beam in free space. Diffraction effects are found to arise within the beam passage through inhomogeneous plasma microstructures even in the simplest approximations of the laser beam interaction with plasma.

The paper presents a review of literature data on the issue of the reliability of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits and the types of failures leading to the degradation of IC parameters. It describes the tests carried out on the reliability of controlled parameters of integrated circuit TPS54332, such as quiescent current, quiescent current in standby mode, resistance of the open key, and instability of the set output voltage in the whole range of input voltages and in the whole range of load currents.

This results in time-consuming and costly experimental guess-and-check approaches for manufacturing each individual design. Through synthesising advancements in the field, this review argues that numerical modelling is instrumental in mitigating these challenges by working in tandem with experimental studies.

An important goal of COVID-19 surveillance is to detect outbreaks using modern molecular epidemiology techniques based on methods to decode the full genome of the virus, since rapidly evolving RNA viruses, which include SARS-CoV-2, are constantly accumulating changes in their genomes. In addition to using these changes to identify the different virus lines spreading in the population, the availability of sequence information is very important. It will allow the identification of altered variants that may be more transmissible, cause more severe forms of disease, or be undetectable by existing diagnostic test systems.

Complete genome analysis showed the presence of two alkane oxidation systems: alkane 1-monooxygenase (alkB) and cytochrome P450 monooxygenase (P450) genes with established high homology to the well-known alkane-degrading actinobacteria. According to the comparative genome analysis, both systems have a wide distribution among environmental and clinical isolates of the genus Tsukamurella and other members of Actinobacteria.

In the present study, we studied humoral immunity in samples of the blood sera of COVID-19 convalescents of varying severity and patients who died due to this infection, using native SARS-CoV-2 and its individual recombinant proteins. The cross-reactivity with SARS-CoV (2002) was also assessed.

These shifts indicate anthropogenic pressure and help to discover new possibilities for soil remediation. In this study, the microbial community structure of Spolic Technosols formed at the territory of a former industrial sludge reservoir near the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky (Southern Russia) was studied using a metagenomics approach.

Synthesis, spectral properties, and photodynamic activity of water-soluble amino acid fullerene C derivatives (AFD) and four original AFD-PPa dyads, obtained by covalent addition of dye pyropheophorbide (PPa) to AFD, were studied. In aqueous solution, these AFD-PPa dyads form nanoassociates as a result of self-assembly. In this case, a significant change in the absorption spectra and strong quenching of the dye fluorescence in the structure of the dyads were observed.

The implementation of the modern imaging techniques into the clinical practice, particularly, 2D echocardiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance tomography (MRI) results to the prompt diagnosis of the myxoma. However, the absence of specific clinical features, insufficient awareness of this condition among the physicians along with a rare prevalence, may lead to a misdiagnosis.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: There were examined 153 patients, men aged 40-70 years, including 53 patients with COPD, 56 with a combination of COPD and CHD and 44 patients with stable CHD. The level of LP (a) and PAPP-A in the serum was determined by ELISA.
Particular attention is paid to biodegradable materials from the environmental point of view and antimicrobial materials that ensure the microbiological safety of packaged products. The aim of the work was to study the properties of the composition, based on biodegradable polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT) and the antimicrobial additive-birch bark extract (BBE). Test samples of materials were obtained on the laboratory extruder by extrusion with ultrasonic treatment of the melt.

Subjects And Methods: The investigation included 80 patients with alcoholic LC without a history of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and, as a control group, 32 alcohol abusers without a history of chronic diseases of the liver and cardiovascular and respiratory systems; 45 patients with alcoholic cardiomyopathy (ACM) and congestive heart failure without a history of coronary heart disease and valvular diseases, among whom 11 patients were found to have LC. In addition to standard clinical examination, all the patients underwent electrocardiography, by estimating the corrected QT interval (QTc), standard echocardiography; and those without ACM underwent estimation of left ventricular (LV) kinetics using speckle-tracking echocardiography.
The neuroprotective action of hybrid structures based on fullerene C60 with attached proline amino acid has been studied. Hybrid structures contained natural antioxidant carnosine or addends with one or two nitrate groups. It has been shown that all studied compounds had antioxidant activity and decreased the concentration of malondialdehyde in homogenates of the rat brain.

It was shown that these fullerene C60 nitroderivatives are able to prevent the formation of amyloid fibrils by the brain Abeta(1-42)-peptide and muscle X-protein and to destroy mature fibrils. Electron microscopy is a promising method for selecting effective antiamyloidogenic drugs.

Results of computer simulation of electron beam propagation from the pinch to the Faraday cup give limits for the measured current for beams having different energy spreads. The beam is partially neutralized as it propagates from the X pinch to a diagnostic system, but within a Faraday cup diagnostic, space charge effects can be very important.

A crosslinked polyurethanurea (PUU) coating was synthesised from a solution on metal vascular stents. In the model system the glucocorticoid prednisolone was inserted into the film by the equilibrium swelling method; after this plasma immersion ion implantation (PIII) was applied to modify the coating for improved release kinetics. This treatment causes the formation of oxygen-containing and unsaturated carbon-carbon groups in the PUU and a destruction of the drug in the surface layer.

Element composition of exhaled air condensate is described for the first time. Analysis of element composition in 102 patients with asthma demonstrated characteristic shifts in the concentrations of some macro- and trace elements, which confirms the clinical significance of analysis and correction of deviations in the element composition of biological media.
