The practical process of manufacturing poly(methyl methacrylate)-based scaffolds having high porosity and high strength.

Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-based scaffolds have been produced using the granule casting method with grain sizes M80-100 and M100-140. The novelty of this study was the application of the cold-cutting method (CCm) to reduce the PMMA granule size. PMMA granule shape, granule size (mesh), and sintering temperature were the primary variables in manufacturing PMMA scaffolds.

Role of Doppler Ultrasound in Diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma with Histopathological Correlation.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common cancer in the world and the leading cause (possibly third) of cancer mortality. In a present scenario, HCC displays a challenging clinical problem worldwide. Good-quality ultra sound with careful evaluation of the hepatobiliary system can be a screening examination for HCC in patients at risk.

Students' perception on flipped classroom with formative assessment: A focus group study.

Objective: To explore students' perception on the implementation of flipped classroom (FC) combined with formative assessment during the undergraduate teaching of orthodontic wire-bending skills.

Methods: Third-year undergraduate dental students were taught wire-bending skills via FC teaching method using a series of pre-recorded online video demonstrations. As part of the formative assessment, the students were given the results and assessment rubrics of their prior wire-bending assessment before every subsequent session.

Bilateral Renal Angiomyolipoma with Hidden Tuberous Sclerosis Complex: A Case Report.

Angiomyolipomas (AML) are benign tumor of kidney also referred as renal hamartoma composed of varying amounts of mature adipose tissue, smooth muscle, and blood vessels. It is seen in two distinct clinical forms, a sporadic (isolated) form and 55-80% seen in association with Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). If the lesion grows to a large size, a series of clinical manifestations and serious complications may occur.
