The driving-related attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of cannabis users in the Australian Capital Territory following decriminalisation.

Introduction: In January 2020, the government of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) decriminalised the possession and cultivation of cannabis for personal use. This study explored the driving-related attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of ACT residents who are legally cultivating and consuming cannabis.

Methods: A two-part cross-sectional study was conducted.

Skin adaptation in lower limb amputees assessed through Raman spectroscopy and mechanical characterization.

Following lower limb amputation residuum skin from the lower leg is used to reconstruct the residual limb. Unlike skin on the sole of the foot (plantar skin), leg skin is not inherently load bearing. Despite this, leg skin is required to be load bearing in the prosthetic socket.

Facilitator development for pre-registration health professions simulation: a scoping review protocol.

Introduction: The growing demand for health professional education intensifies the need for learning innovations such as simulation: facilitating predictable, realistic, experiential learning that prepares students for practice. To achieve this, facilitators must provide pedagogically sound, psychologically safe simulation. High-quality simulation enhances students' self-efficacy, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning.

Revisiting working memory 50 years after Baddeley and Hitch: A review of field-specific conceptualisations, use and misuse, and paths forward for studying children.

As trained educational and developmental psychologists who study the role of working memory in educational outcomes, we know the various assumptions made about definitions and measurements of this cognitive ability. Considering the popularity of the Baddeley and Hitch working memory model in these fields, we raise challenges related to measurement, overlap with executive function, and adopting working memory measurement approaches from adult models. We propose that researchers consider how working memory tasks might tap multiple other abilities.
