Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has been proposed as an emerging onco-therapeutics that can specifically kill cancer cells without harming healthy cells. Here we explore its potency in triggering ferroptosis in transformed cells using triple negative breast cancer as the disease model. Through the whole transcriptome sequencing, mass spectrometry analysis, point mutation, and a series of and molecular assays, we identified two signaling axes centered at EGFR(Y1068), i.

Effective dietary management is crucial for both prevention and treatment. This study investigates the effects and mechanisms of Eurotium cristatum-fermented black tea (FBT) in a dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced UC mouse model using transcriptome sequencing, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) provides easily accessible information, with heart rate variability (HRV) derived from ECG showing prognostic value. However, few studies have conducted a comprehensive analysis of HRV-based prognostic model against established standards, which limits the application of HRV's prognostic value in clinical settings.

As a highly sensitive and selective analytical technique, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is promising for detecting ROS in real-time, enabling in situ monitoring of ROS-involved electrochemical and biochemical events with exceptional resolution.

One of the beams was subjected to an explosive load to induce post-explosion damage, and subsequently, both beams underwent flexural capacity testing. Integrating piezoelectric smart aggregates (SAas) within the beams facilitated continuous observation of the damage conditions, allowing for the assessment of internal concrete deterioration from explosive impacts to bending failures.
