Unlabelled: This study includes over 11.6M newborns screened (NBS) for Pompe Disease (PD) from 29 distinct universal screening programs across 8 countries and 4 continents. The birth prevalence of PD is 1:18,711, with no evidence of difference across populations of European, Latin American, or Asian ancestry, though differences may exist for PD subtypes.

Animals: 31 healthy adult domestic goats from 4 zoological institutions.
Methods: On day 0, blood was collected for baseline serum titer before vaccination with 1 mL SARS-CoV-2 recombinant S protein vaccine SC (n = 22) or IM (n = 9).
We describe the isolation of atypical Brucella inopinata-like species and unique clinicopathologic findings in 2 adult marine toads (Rhinella marina), including oophoritis in 1 toad. These findings represent a novel emerging disease in toads and a possible zoonotic pathogen.

Structural modifications of the series led to potent compounds in both a cell-based fluorescent calcium influx assay and a patch clamp electrophysiology assay. Representative compounds from the series were bioavailable and showed efficacy in the rat CFA and CCI models of inflammatory and neuropathic pain.

In addition to motor, sensory and visual deficits, MS is also characterized by hippocampal demyelination and memory impairment. We recently demonstrated that a recombinant human-derived monoclonal IgM antibody, which is designated rHIgM22 and currently in clinical development for people with MS, accelerates remyelination of the corpus callosum in the brains of cuprizone-treated mice.
