Objective: The objective was to evaluate the psychometric properties and clinical utility of handwriting assessments for children ages 3 to 16 yr.
Data Sources: A systematic review was conducted in CINAHL, PubMed (MEDLINE), Scopus, and education databases, with no time limits.
Plant pathogens and pests can cause significant losses in crop yields, affecting food security and the global economy. Many traditional chemical pesticides are used to combat these organisms. This can lead to the development of pesticide-resistant strains of pathogens/insects and negatively impact the environment.

One of the challenges for producing active chitinase formulations relies on the gap between the laboratory tests and the biological scenarios where the enzyme will perform its function. In this work, we have employed different Langmuir monolayer arrays to evaluate the interfacial behavior of a recently purified recombinant chitinase, Chi18-5. We have demonstrated that two conformations exist for the chitinase at pH values close to its pI, showing very distinct structural properties at the air/aqueous interface.

Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) is a non-invasive and side-effect-free treatment option for fresh, delayed- and non-union bone fractures, which has been used in patients since the early 1990s. Several clinical studies, however, have questioned the usefulness of the LIPUS treatment for the regeneration of long bones, including those with a compromised healing.
