Cerebral vascular diseases are a strategically important medical-social and economic problem of the present. An analysis of the basic pathogenetic mechanisms of development of this pathology will allow to solve the questions of complex adequate pathogenetic therapy and lower relative density of menacing complications of these diseases: death rate and debilitation.

Free radical oxidation of lipids and proteins is the universal process constantly proceeding in cells, tissues and organs during the lifetime of organism. In certain conditions, this process can be a basis of pathology, one of the mechanisms of disease development, including stroke.
