Objective: This study reports on patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) therapy trends across the Children's Hospital Neonatal Consortium.
Study Design: We performed a 12-year (2011-2022) retrospective study of premature infants (< 33 weeks) with a PDA. We utilized descriptive statistics to compare demographic, inpatient, and discharge characteristics in 3-year epochs.
Partial caries removal reduces the risk of pulp exposure while preserving the tooth structure that is otherwise unnecessarily lost during the cavity preparation. Liners are applied on the dentinal floors to induce the formation of tertiary dentin that effectively blocks the stimuli from reaching the pulp. The present systematic review was conducted to evaluate the effect of liners on pulp vitality after partial caries removal in permanent teeth.

However, the clinical development of mRNA-LNP therapeutics faces numerous challenges due to their complex mechanisms of action and limited clinical experience. To overcome these hurdles, Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) emerges as a valuable tool that can be applied to mRNA-LNP therapeutics, facilitating the evaluation of their safety and efficacy through the integration of data from all stages into appropriate modeling and simulation techniques.

Here, we showed that confinement makes initially quiescent round cells on soft adhesive substrates spread and migrate, exhibiting a phenotype similar to that of cells on unconfined stiff substrates. Interestingly, the confinement-induced cell spreading and migration exist widely in many cell types, and depend on formins, cell contractility and endonuclear YAP-TEAD interaction.
