Methods: Multicenter retrospective study of neonates with moderate/severe NE from Jan. 2013-Feb 2021.

An update on technical and safety practice patterns in transforaminal epidural steroid injections.

Introduction: Previous studies have suggested variability in practice patterns for transforaminal epidural steroid injections (TFESIs) despite published safety guidance. The purpose of this study was to understand recent trends in periprocedural safety practices in TFESIs and how some aspects of interventional pain practice may have been influenced by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and related supply chain shortages.

Methods: A 91-item survey was distributed to 111 program directors of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education accredited Pain Management fellowships, 42 North American Spine Society and Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine recognized fellowship directors, and 100 private practice interventional pain physicians to capture current practices in epidural steroid injections from March 2021 to March 2022.

Introduction: Interlaminar epidural steroid injections (ILESIs) are mainstay in the management of low back, neck and radicular pain and are a commonly performed pain management procedure in the United States. Our survey aims to provide an update in practice patterns of ILESIs among interventional pain physicians.

Multi-institutional quality improvement algorithm for home nasogastric tube care for neonates.

Background: High-risk neonates continuing to need enteral nutrition, but otherwise medically ready for discharge home from the NICU, are often offered ongoing hospitalization for nasogastric tube (NGT) feeding, versus discharge after placement of gastrostomy tube. Our group developed an interdisciplinary algorithm to support a third option-discharge home with enteral nutrition via NGT. Our objective was to develop a cross-institutional and interdisciplinary pathway to optimize outcomes for neonates discharged with NGTs.

as a Nutraceutical Source for Broilers: Improving Meat Quality and Storage Oxidative Status.

This study aimed to assess the impact of supplementation in broilers' diet, alone or in combination with vitamin E, on meat quality parameters, nutritional value, and oxidative stability during storage time. An experiment was conducted on 180 COBB 500 broiler chickens (14 days old), assigned into six treatments, following a 2 × 3 factorial arrangement. A corn-soybean meal diet was supplemented with three levels of (0% in group C1, 1% in E1, 2% in E2), two levels of vitamin E (0% in C1, 250 ppm in C2), and a combination of them (1% + 250 ppm vitamin (E3), 2% + 250 ppm vitamin (E4)).
