Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) is an autosomal dominant vascular disorder characterized by vascular malformations, which cause frequent bleeding events including epistaxis and gastrointestinal bleeding. We describe the management of an 84-year-old woman with HHT who received end-of-life care on a palliative care ward. When the patient was unable to swallow her tranexamic acid tablets, this was converted to a continuous subcutaneous infusion, which was continued for a week until death.

Case Report: A 23-year-old non-diabetic immunocompetent female with recurrent vaginal candidiasis developed clusters of erythematous, pruritic papules in the pubic area.
We examine the organization and dynamics of binary colloidal monolayers composed of micron-scale silica particles interspersed with smaller-diameter silica particles that serve as minority component impurities. These binary monolayers are prepared at the surface of ionic liquid droplets over a range of size ratios (σ = 0.16-0.

Here, we observe enhanced Mn luminescence at the edges of Mn-doped CsPbCl perovskite microplates and suggest an explanation for its origin using the high spatiotemporal resolution of time-resolved cathodoluminescence (TRCL) imaging. We reveal two luminescent decay components that we attribute to two different Mn populations.
