The effectiveness of therapeutic craft-making activities in treating lower-third forearm fracture: study protocol for a randomized controlled trial.

Background: Occupational Therapists use craft-making activities as therapeutic interventions to improve physical and psychological functioning of injured people. Despite the therapeutic effects, craft-making is not routinely used in hand rehabilitation as an intervention for patients with upper limb fractures. These patients often experience physical and psychosocial issues; however, without supportive evidence, therapists hesitate to integrate craft-making into upper limb rehabilitation.

Fatal Orbital Cellulitis With Intracranial Abscess: A Case Report.

Orbital cellulitis is a sight- and life-threatening condition. Prompt diagnosis and immediate intervention are required. We report a case of fatal odontogenic orbital cellulitis complicated with intracranial abscesses in a 55-year-old gentleman.

Targeted Use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel to Maximize Climate Benefits.

Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) can reduce aviation's CO and non-CO impacts. We quantify the change in contrail properties and climate forcing in the North Atlantic resulting from different blending ratios of SAF and demonstrate that intelligently allocating the limited SAF supply could multiply its overall climate benefit by factors of 9-15. A fleetwide adoption of 100% SAF increases contrail occurrence (+5%), but lower nonvolatile particle emissions (-52%) reduce the annual mean contrail net radiative forcing (-44%), adding to climate gains from reduced life cycle CO emissions.
