Background: Colorectal obstruction is a critical condition requiring prompt diagnosis and intervention. Gastrografin, a water-soluble contrast agent, combines diagnostic and therapeutic benefits, facilitating bowel cleansing and enhancing intestinal motility. This study assessed the safety and effectiveness of Gastrografin enemas in emergency settings.

In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of the maXium HF surgical device manufactured by KLS Martin (Germany) during endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR).
Materials And Methods: The maXium device offers multiple preconfigured modes for incision and coagulation tailored to different surgical procedures.
Background & Aims: Caloric overfeeding combined with adequate protein intake increases not only body fat mass but also fat-free mass. However, it remains unclear whether the increase in fat-free mass due to overfeeding is associated with an increase in total body protein mass. We evaluated the hypothesis that overfeeding would promote an increase in total body protein mass.

In this project, we have designed a ZIF-67-originated molybdenum-doped cobalt phosphide (CoP) using a simplistic dissolution-regrowth method using NaMoO and a subsequent phosphidation process. This leads to the formation of an exceptional hollow nanocage morphology that is useful for enhanced catalytic activity.

The milk protein contained in yogurt exhibits different physical and biological properties from those of non-fermented milk protein due to the fermentation and manufacturing processes. These differences are suggested to affect the time it takes to digest and absorb milk protein, which in turn will influence the blood levels of amino acids and/or hormones, such as insulin, and thereby, the rate of skeletal muscle protein synthesis via the activation of intracellular signaling, such as the mTORC1 pathway.
